Harnessing Technology for Smarter Public Health

I specialize in developing and implementing practical, data-driven digital tools that transform public health operations, from frontline service delivery to strategic decision-making.

Development of Digital Data Tools & Dashboards

  • Engineered computerized data management and monitoring tools for WHO country offices (Nepal, Myanmar) to automate the analysis of immunization data, generating real-time insights on coverage, dropouts, and vaccine stock.

  • Developed interactive MS Excel-based dashboards and visualization tools for governments and partners, including equity-mapping tools and data compilation platforms for supportive supervision, enabling dynamic data exploration and reporting.

  • Created electronic dashboards to monitor the quality of care at district hospitals and first referral units, facilitating data-driven quality improvement initiatives.

Digital Microplanning & Operational Efficiency

  • Pioneered an innovative MS Excel-based immunization microplanning tool that was adopted by government and partners across 8+ states in India, revolutionizing the accuracy and efficiency of operational planning at the primary healthcare level.

  • Supported the development of digital tools to strengthen Tanzania’s Comprehensive Council Health Planning (CCHP) process, linking routine immunization data with electronic logistics management systems.

Digital Health Guidelines & System Architecture

  • Provided technical support to draft WHO/Europe guidelines on the digitalization of Immunization Information Systems (IIS), establishing a strategic framework for countries to modernize their health data infrastructure.

  • Developed digitalization roadmaps for countries like Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan, assessing existing data systems and outlining a clear path toward effective digital transformation of their health information systems.

Knowledge Management & Digital Dissemination

  • Documented and analyzed India’s Electronic Vaccine Intelligence Network (eVIN) for UNDP, creating a learning document to facilitate the global scale-up of this award-winning supply chain management innovation.

  • Contributed to developing online self-paced training packages for the OpenWHO platform, translating in-person curricula into accessible digital learning for a global audience.

  • Developed HPV vaccine introduction toolkits and computer-based job aids, digitizing global best practices for easy access and use by program managers and health workers.

Core Areas

  • Digital Transformation: Developing strategic roadmaps and operational frameworks to guide the successful digitization of health information systems and scale innovations.

  • Advanced Analytics & Visualization: Building custom digital tools that automate microplanning, simplify complex data analysis, and create intuitive visualizations for actionable insights.

  • Flexible Learning Solutions: Designing and developing scalable offline and online training packages to build capacity across diverse programs and settings.
