Manish is a certified physician and independent public health consultant with an experience spanning over two decades in designing, strengthening, and evaluating health systems worldwide. His work focuses on the critical intersection of technical strategy, practical tool development, evidence-based implementation, and delivering high-impact results for immunization, maternal and child health (MCH), and health system strengthening programs.

Manish has held progressively senior roles on major donor-funded projects and have contributed to some of global health's most significant efforts, including three flag-ship USAID-funded initiatives (Immunization Basics, MCHIP, and MCSP).  He has a demonstrated record of driving successful interventions in immunization and MCH through innovative solutions and development of scalable tools and strategies—from microplanning and supportive supervision frameworks to data use protocols, automated monitoring tools, job aids, and toolkits that have been successfully scaled in countries like India, Nepal, Myanmar, Tanzania, and Malawi. 

As an independent consultant, he collaborates closely with a diverse range of stakeholders, including government agencies, international organizations, and NGOs—both on-site and remotely—to enhance evidence-based decision-making. He excels in bridging the gap between high-level strategy and on-the-ground action, ensuring that programs are not only well-designed but also effectively monitored, evaluated, and documented. His extensive publication record in the form of journal articles, technical briefs, and training manuals underscores his commitment to knowledge sharing and capacity building.

Manish holds an MD in Social and Preventive Medicine and an MBBS from renowned Indian universities. He combines clinical understanding with robust public health expertise to deliver time-sensitive, high-quality results that empower health systems and the communities in even the most resource-constrained settings.
